KEYTRACS Terms & Policy

1. Professional-use service

KEYTRACS is intended for legitimate professional locksmith business operations. Users are responsible for maintaining all licenses, permits, insurance, authorizations and customer verification required by applicable law and professional practice.

2. Authorized locksmith activity

Users may use KEYTRACS only for lawful work they are authorized to perform. KEYTRACS must not be used to facilitate unauthorized entry, theft, fraud, circumvention of lawful security controls, or acquisition or misuse of protected vehicle, key, PIN, bitting or customer information.

3. Accounts and security

Accounts are personal to the authorized user or organization. Users are responsible for protecting credentials, devices and access methods. KEYTRACS may use installation authorization, session controls, identity/account verification and other safeguards and may suspend access when misuse or a security risk is reasonably suspected.

4. Customer and job data

Users are responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of information they enter or capture. Users must have a lawful basis and appropriate customer authorization for identity, vehicle, property and job information. Do not upload information that is unnecessary for legitimate locksmith service.

5. Verification and photos

Verification features support professional workflows but do not replace the user's legal obligations or professional judgment. Users remain responsible for determining ownership, authorization and identity requirements for each job.

6. Vehicle and locksmith data

VIN, key code, PIN, bitting and related information may be sensitive. Access and use are limited to lawful, authorized locksmith purposes. Any data-sharing or marketplace capability is subject to verification, access controls and additional rules displayed in the service.

7. Quotes, invoices and payments

KEYTRACS provides business-management tools and does not guarantee payment, collection, tax treatment or legal sufficiency of any quote or invoice. Users are responsible for pricing, taxes, disclosures, payment records and compliance applicable to their business.

8. Subscriptions and third-party services

Paid features may be subject to subscription terms shown at purchase. KEYTRACS may rely on third-party infrastructure, payment, authentication, hosting or communications providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and availability.

9. Privacy

KEYTRACS may process account identifiers, business profile information, authentication/security data, customer/job data submitted by users, subscription information, device/installation information and technical logs as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service. Information is not to be used for unrelated purposes inconsistent with this policy. Users are responsible for their own privacy notices and obligations to their customers.

10. Data security and retention

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Data may be retained as reasonably necessary to operate the service, satisfy security and recordkeeping needs, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, subject to applicable law.

11. Intellectual property

KEYTRACS branding, software, interface designs, documentation and original service content are owned by or licensed to KEYTRACS and may not be copied, reverse engineered, redistributed or commercially exploited except as permitted by law or written authorization. Users retain rights in information they lawfully submit.

12. Prohibited conduct

Users may not probe or attack the service, bypass access restrictions, share unauthorized credentials, scrape protected data, impersonate others, interfere with other users, introduce malicious code, or use KEYTRACS in violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Service availability and changes

Features may evolve, be corrected, replaced or discontinued. Maintenance, third-party outages, security events or other circumstances may interrupt access. KEYTRACS does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

14. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. KEYTRACS does not provide legal, tax, insurance or law-enforcement advice and does not guarantee that use of the service alone satisfies any licensing, verification, recordkeeping or regulatory requirement.

15. Limitation and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users remain responsible for their locksmith services, customer interactions, data entered, pricing, authorizations and legal compliance. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted or terminated for material violations, fraud, security threats, unlawful use, nonpayment where applicable, or other grounds allowed by the agreement and applicable law.

17. Policy changes

These terms may be updated as KEYTRACS features and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date or other appropriate notice.
